Surroundings:   By a walk (15-20 minutes) over the beach or on country lanes you will reach Tholo (1,2km) with the camping area and Neohori (1,2km). Both are small villages with taverns and pubs on the beach. In Kakobatos (5 km) there are 9 taverns and 3 Ouzarias, which are pubs, where the Greek national drink Ouzo with snacks is served. In the city Zacharo (8 km) you will find many small shops, 3 supermarkets and a discount-supermarket Dia, the Platia with restaurants, two beach restaurants and a disco at the sea with a lot of action. Kiparessia (22 km or 12 minutes driving time) is a very beautiful small city. It extends from the fisherman’s port up to the mountain. Here are you can find the supermarket Lidl (19km) and  restaurants with fantastic view. At the port there are Ouzarias, taverns and discos that do not close before sunrise. Pirgos (38 km) has many fashion and gold and silver shops, several big supermarkets (Lidl, A+B, Eurospar, slide and Panemboriki), a large hospital, a lot of disco's and pubs and every Wednesday there is a large Bazar. The port of Pirgos is called Katakolon (it is 10 km outside from Pirgos). Here the taverns, pubs and disco's are directly placed near to the fishing boats. Not to forget Kalamata (76 km) and Patras (132 km distance). They are both cities where you will find everything: Fashion, shoes, jewelry, hundreds of taverns and pubs in the city, in the port and at the beach.
